Fabrizio Papini was born on July 31st 1956 near the world famous city of Florence, Italy.
Upon recieving his scientific diploma in 1975, Fabrizio moved on to Aquisgrana
(Germany) and
enrolled at the Technische Hocshule to sudy language.
He remained in Germany until 1979.
Those German years of study, and life lived "on the cuff",
added a decidedly teutonic influence to
Fabrizio´s artistic vision and work ethic.
Back in Italy, Papini began photographing in 1980, self taught , he dabbled
in all forms, from
landscapes to portraiture and darkroom tecnique.
Around 1985 Fabrizio discovered the world of "still life" and
it is here that his artistic career took a
more personal turn.
His experimentation with the field camera required a special attention to lighting and compostion.
Begining in 1990 Papini began dedicating his work to nude photography,
utilizing his carefully
honed experience in still life.
Since 1992 he operates a fully equipped photography studio at Montecatini
Terme (Pistoia) were he
regularly holds workshops and courses.
